Art Psychotherapy service provided internationally

Art Psychotherapy service for children, young people and adults, delivered by Sophie Santolaria.

Art Psychotherapy or Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which the art form is the primary mode of expression and communication. Art therapy creates an accessible environment to communicate emotional issues that can be too difficult or challenging to put into words.

You don’t need to be good at art in order to beneficiate from art therapy.

My name is Sophie Santolaria. I am originally from France and have lived in the UK for 9 years.  I  completed the MSc in Art Psychotherapy at Queen Margaret University in 2017.

In the last 5 years I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings gaining valuable insight and experience. I am skilled at holding non-judgmental and caring spaces for individuals of all ages to support exploring life challenges and successes.

My work includes running open and closed groups and experiential art therapy workshops within schools and hospitals settings, as well as working on a one to one basis.

Sophie has experience in working creatively with children, young people and adults in a wide range of settings.
